Our FEATURE today focuses on the market phenomena known as Bitcoin and how it relates to other BOOM and BUST cycles that we've all experienced over the past 45 years. All parabolic moves in any market end badly. That doesn't mean that Bitcoin can not recover and reach new highs but investors could incur massive losses during the process. Most BTC investors didn't realize that Emil Oldenburg, the CTO and one of the original founders of BTC, sold his entire interest in the cryptocurrency in mid December which created almost complete illiquidity for other investors who wanted to sell. We relate this event to all the major market moves and their common denominator--the Federal Reserve and US monetary policy. Other topics include: The Shutdown, The Labor Market-the lowest number of unemployment applications in 45 years, "The Anti-Trust Case Against American Tech Behemoths", Martin Feldstein "Market Headed for a Fall", VPLM Update, "America Needs Gentlemen", NYPD's new act of heroism and Monica's 20th Anniversary.
